IN PERFECT CONFIDENCE | 5–8 July 2027 | Noblethorpe Hall, South Yorkshire, England
We warmly invite you to join us for a Regency-era LARP of secrets, confessions and family intrigue. In Perfect Confidence features pre-written characters with their own backgrounds, relationships and secrets. To create an enjoyable experience for everyone, we use a casting process based on participants’ preferences rather than allocating roles on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets and prices
All tickets include:
- Participation in the LARP, including a pre-written character and background material.
- Accommodation at Noblethorpe Hall from 5 to 8 July 2027.
- Meals and refreshments throughout the event.
- Access to costume guidance and practical information before the event.

Discounted Tickets
A limited number of discounted tickets are available for participants who are willing to help with practical tasks during the event. These may include playing music for dancing, teaching a dance or a period card game, helping with table setting and serving, taking photographs, or assisting other participants with Regency hairstyles and cravats. You can indicate which tasks you would be happy to help with in the sign-up form. The organisers will confirm any assigned responsibilities when offering a discounted place.
Sponsor Tickets
By choosing a sponsor ticket, you help us offer discounted places to other participants and support our ambition to organise more non-profit historical LARPs in England. Sponsor tickets include the same experience as regular tickets, with an additional contribution towards making this and future events possible.

Sign-up opens: 19 October 2026.
Sign-up closes: 20 December 2026.
To apply, please complete our online sign-up form. The form asks about your preferences for characters, relationships, storylines and playing style, as well as practical information such as accommodation, dietary requirements and accessibility needs. You can also tell us if you are signing up together with someone and would like your characters to have a particular relationship.

Submitting the form is an application, not a confirmed booking. No payment is required at this stage.
How Casting Works
Casting is an important part of creating In Perfect Confidence. Our aim is to match each participant with a character that suits their interests and preferences while creating a balanced and engaging network of relationships. We will carefully consider the wishes you express in your sign-up form, including the types of characters, relationships and storylines you would most enjoy playing. If several participants are equally suitable for a particular role, the final choice will be made by lottery. This ensures that everyone who is equally well matched has a fair chance of receiving the role.
We will do our best to accommodate your preferences, but we cannot guarantee a particular character, relationship or discounted ticket. Casting will take place between 21 and 28 December 2026, and we plan to send out character offers shortly after this. If you are offered a place, you will receive information about your character and instructions for confirming your participation.
Payment
Once you have received and accepted your character offer, you can confirm your place by making the first payment.To make participation more affordable, we offer the option of paying in four installments.

You are also welcome to pay the full ticket price earlier if you prefer. Payment instructions and the amounts due for your ticket category will be provided with your character offer. The absolute deadline for complete payment i 15 April 2027.

Cancellation & Refunds
We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be fair to our participants while ensuring that the event remains financially viable.
If you cancel before 15 April 2027
You are guaranteed a refund of at least 25% of your total ticket price, even if we cannot find someone to take your place.
If you cancel between 15 April and 20 June 2027
You are guaranteed a refund of at least €60 to cover food costs we can avoid.
If you cancel on or after 21 June 2027
We cannot guarantee a refund, as most event costs will already have been committed.
If We Find a Replacement
Regardless of when you cancel, we will do our best to find a suitable replacement player. If we successfully fill your place and receive payment from the replacement, we will refund everything you have paid, minus a €50 administration fee.
A Few Important Details
- Refunds cannot exceed the amount you have already paid.
- You will not need to make any further installment payments after cancelling.
- The guaranteed amounts are minimum refunds. If our actual financial loss is lower, we will refund more where appropriate.
- If we cancel the event, you will receive a full refund of your ticket payments.
