Youtube<\/a> Dingwell & Thornbloom Regency Experiences is a small, non-profit hobby venture run by Sarah Dingwell and Jennie Thornbloom, based in the village of Tierp in northern Uppland, Sweden. We share a passion for the Regency era, historical clothing, dancing, literature and bringing history to life. Since 2022, we have organised Regency-inspired events, including The Bridgerton Ball at Gimo Manor in Sweden. Our aim is to create welcoming and memorable experiences where people can step away from everyday life and enjoy the atmosphere, elegance and social traditions of the early nineteenth century. Jennie is the lead organiser of In Perfect Confidence<\/em> and has been involved in organising historical LARPs since 2011. Her particular passion is creating immersive experiences inspired by Jane Austen’s novels, where carefully written characters, intricate relationships and personal secrets allow participants to become part of their own unfolding stories. Over the years, Jennie has organised and contributed to a variety of Regency-themed LARPs and historical events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale productions. Both Swedish productions of Hemligheter och bek\u00e4nnelser <\/em>were highly successful and received very positive feedback from participants, who particularly praised the quality of the writing and the organisation of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2011 \u2013 K\u00e4rlek och f\u00f6rdel (Love and Advantage)<\/strong> In her professional life, Jennie has worked as a project manager at a Swedish government agency for the past ten years. She brings her experience in planning, coordination and project management to her LARP productions, alongside her enthusiasm for historical storytelling and creating memorable experiences for participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We believe that the most memorable historical experiences are created together. Beautiful surroundings, period clothing and carefully planned events provide the setting, but it is the people, their interactions and the stories they create that truly bring the past to life. With In Perfect Confidence<\/em>, we are bringing our love of historical events and live-action roleplaying to England. The LARP is the English-language production of Hemligheter och bek\u00e4nnelser<\/em> (Secrets and Confessions<\/em>), which was performed twice in Sweden in 2024.
